By-product recovery and routing for food, agri, oil and port operations

Verloop finds the right destination for difficult, off-specification (off-spec) and damaged materials, from rice bran and wet grain to soapstock, bleaching earth and rejected port cargo. We route them into permitted feed, energy, fertiliser and reuse outlets. Every movement is recorded in Verloop Vision, Verloop's own traceability platform, so you have chain-of-custody evidence from source to destination. Verloop is UK based and operates across Europe, North Africa, Malaysia and South America.

What we do

Control and traceability for the materials your operation already produces.

  • Where we work

Supporting processors, manufacturers, fresh produce supply chains, AD and bioenergy businesses, ports, storage operators, insurers, and multi-site organisations with complex material recovery and routing needs.

  • What we handle

Complex by-products, residues, damaged commodities, oils, fats, filter cakes, sludges, biomass, and overlooked materials that can be routed, recovered, or valorised.

Frequently asked questions

What does Verloop do?

Verloop is a UK-based by-product recovery and intelligence company. Verloop finds compliant outlets for difficult, off-spec, damaged and residual materials from food, agriculture, oil processing and port operations, designs the route, moves the material and records every movement in Verloop Vision, its own traceability platform.

Is Verloop a waste company?

No. Verloop is a recovery and routing specialist. Verloop works with materials that still have value or a permitted use, such as soapstock, bleaching earth, wet grain or damaged cargo, and places them into feed, energy, fertiliser and reuse routes. Verloop holds upper-tier carrier, broker and dealer registration so material can move compliantly.

Which materials does Verloop handle?

Verloop handles food, pet food, feed and agricultural by-products; oils, fats, soapstock and acid oil; spent bleaching earth and filter cakes; biomass and bagasse; ash and mineral residues; rice and grain by-products; avocado and olive by-products; and damaged, contaminated or rejected commodities from storage, transport and ports.

What do "outlet" and "chain of custody" mean?

An outlet is a site that is permitted to take a material and use it, such as a feed mill, anaerobic digestion plant or biomass plant. Chain of custody is the unbroken record of who held the material, when, and where it ended up. Verloop provides both for every load.

Where does Verloop operate?

Verloop Ltd was founded in 2025 and is based in Lincolnshire, UK. It runs routes across the UK and Europe, including AD feedstock supply to customers in the Netherlands and Denmark and avocado processing with partners in Spain. It also has olive by-product routes from North Africa and sourcing and feedstock partners in Malaysia and South America.

How fast can Verloop respond to an incident?

Verloop's incident line, 01790 720 420, is answered 24 hours a day by someone who can act. For insurer-led claims, the policyholder is contacted within 12 hours. Because Verloop already knows which outlets take which materials, routing starts on the first call.
